So, I took quite a few pictures this weekend.. to post on my previous post, but I forgot my camera cord today so I have to wait till I get home to upload the pictures. In the mean time, here's my weekend in a nutshell... we went to the tattoo convention on Saturday which was really fun. I met some really cool people ans saw some really amazing pieces of art. Tattoo's are so amazing, and they tell such awesome stories. They are like colorful journal entries for everyone to read. I've decided I want to get mine touched up, and hopefully add a little to it. Im just not sure what. There was one that I still cant get out of my head, it was an arm piece and it was a black and white of this picture (which is one of my favorites and thats probably why im so obsessed with it) with a naval ship on one side and a helicopter with parachutes falling from it on the other. It was an awesome tattoo. I wish I had the creativity to come up with something like that. I really want a quarter sleeve, but I dont know what to do, or even what to start with! So instead of getting tattoo's I got my ears gauged. Im just starting so they are small, just a 14 right now, but in 6 weeks I can go get them stretched bigger. Im so excited about this, I've always thought they are so hot if they arent huge so Im glad I finally got started. Im planning on only going 2 sizes bigger at the most. My mom got her tragus (I dont know how to spell it...) pierced and my aunt got her nose pierced, so we went to the tattoo convention and left with piercings :) It was a perfect day.

I didnt get to making my Lady Gaga cupcakes, So I am still open to any and all suggestions!!!! :) PLEASE!!!!
I also have some pictures I need to upload of some goodies I got off the sweetapolita blog I posted about a few weeks ago. I will get to uploading pics tonight!!!

Just so you dont think I forgot...

Day 4 is a pic of your night.... well I dont usually just take random pictures so I dont have one to go along with this day, so instead of a pic of my night im changing it a bit. On Monday I will post pics of my weekend! The tattoo convention is at the salt palace tomorrow and my mom, my aunt Traci and I will be in attendance. (hopefully leaving with a new tattoo... but sshhhh, dont tell!)
Also, while idolizing Lady Gaga during the Grammy's last Sunday my sister's best friend gave me a spectacular idea to make cupcakes inspired by Gaga!! I I may get to that this weekend, but probably not to be honest haha. I still need ideas. Im thinking red velvet cake with some red chocolate in the middle (so when they bake, the chocolate will melt and oooze out when biten!) ((Kinda gross, but totally GaGa!)) But that is where all my ideas end, im thinking of maybe melting some chocolate and making lightning bolts or something... but I know I can get crazier than that, I mean these are GAGA CUPCAKES! So, for my few fellow followers if you have any crazy ideas PLEASE let me know. Embrace your inner gaga! :)

**Side note, I know not everyone (Caroline!!) like's Gaga, but you have to help me! Even if you hate her, you know she's out there... give me some out there, Gaga ideas! :) Thanks!!!!

Day 3- A pic of the cast from your favorite show


This one was a tough choice between Jersey Shore and Glee, but I figured since I already have a picture on here of the J.S. crew I'd go with Glee! I cannot tell you how much crap I get for LOVING this show! I cant help it, its so addicting. I have crushes on all the boys, and all the girls are hotties haha... they sing amazing songs, and they just beat Elvis Presley's record of the most #1 singles; he had 108 they have 113. How can they not be awesome? I force Brock to watch it with me every week, he is adamant that he hates it but Im just glad he can tolerate it enough to sit through an hour with me. Anyways, I LOVE GLEE!!!! :)

Day # 2

Day 2- A picture of you and the person you’ve been closest with for the longest

This is me and my cousin Parker circa 1994. :)

I met Parker Todd Russell on January 10th 1990, the day he was born. My mom and his mom are mirror twins, so Parker and I spent A LOT of time together growing up. Our Grandparents had a house and tons of property up on Oakley, Utah and Parker and his family lived basically in their backyard. Almost every weekend I would sleep over at their house with them. In 1999 (I think) Todd (Parker's dad) got transferred to Avon Lake, Ohio for work. They have lived there ever since. I spent an entire summer there between 8th and 9th grade and at least once a year I visit Ohio, or they visit Utah. Its definitely not the same, but he's still one of my best friends. Now he has a girlfriend, who I adore, and they've tossed around the idea of moving back to Utah. Im trying to convince them to get out here, but its hard. Until then, we will just have to keep up these expensive visits! :) Love you Parker!

Aparently im a terrible blogger

I so badly wanted to master this blogging thing and update it daily with all these awesome new thoughts or life updates... I guess I just dont have that much going on in my life. :) Thanks to Ms. Caroline Troester and the fact that she is starting her blog again I have an email of 30 blog updates to post every day for the next 30 days (duh). There simple, but hopefully will get me back on my blogging feet.

Today's blog- A picture of me and 15 facts. Here it goes.


1- My middle name is very common, except no one spells it like I do... Nekole. Talk about original.
2- I have HORRIBLE road rage.
3- I LOVE sushi, I could eat it everyday. More specifically I love Simply Sushi's Spicy Upside Down Shrimp. yummm. :)
4- I love baking. I have stumbled across a few awesome baking blogs and they have inspired my new baking obsession... now if only I could get inspired to cook dinner every night. :)
5- Im dyslexic.
6- One day (soon) I will jump out of a plane.
7- I love the Red Sox, baseball is the only sport I havent jumped teams with... and I never will.
8- I've never broken a bone. (knock on wood)
9- Im obsessed with weddings, I look at wedding blogs daily and have a portion of my future wedding already planned... I just need a ring. :)
10- Jack Johnson and John Mayer can brighten my mood no matter what.
11- People tell me I look like Hilary Duff.
12- I have different versions of what my life would be like if ______ it keeps me entertained.
13- I love random notes.
14- I want to move to California.
15- I love my job, mostly because I work with 3 of my best friends.

Im not a happy camper

Yesterday The Jets and The Steelers played... which was like battle royale at my house since I am a Jets fan, and Brock is a Steelers boy. The stupid Steelers won, and Im seriously upset. I was having an anxiety attack all night, I couldnt breathe and my heart was racing. They were so close.... but so far away. Anyways. Im still heart broken. I love sports and love when my teams win, but its seriously depressing when they lose. Good thing baseball season is right around the corner! That will be a great distraction from football season!!! :)
